Mental Health and Wellness fairs well
The first annual Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS) Mental Health and Wellness Fair occurred in Kellogg Park on Saturday, April 30, 2022. The event was organized by Kathy Grodus, P-CCS school psychologist, Jullie Woodhams, the former Executive Director of Special Services for P-CCS, and Frank Ruggirello, the P-CCS Director of Partnerships and External Affairs.
The fair consisted of a wide array of booths and activities designed to promote and bring attention to mental health issues that students face. The event was the first of its kind in the state of Michigan, fulfilling the district-wide strategic theme of being a “Leader in Educational Innovation,” as outlined in the P-CCS 2021-2027 Dynamic Plan.
