P-CEP Orchestras present ‘A Holiday Charity Concert’
After performing for the Rotary Club of Plymouth, members of P-CEP Orchestras are once again donning their black shirts in preparation for their upcoming “A Holiday Charity Concert” on December 21.
The concert will be held inside Salem High School’s Gloria Logan Auditorium at 7:00 p.m., with an entry fee of $5 per ticket or $10 per family. For those who cannot attend, the show will also be broadcasted on 881thepark.com for free.
The Orchestra will also collect donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the event.
Christmas classics such as “Sleigh Ride” and “We Three Kings” will be heard among other songs during the night.
“I am very excited to be performing the awesome repertoire [director Michael Edwards] selected this year,” said Nolan Johnson, Plymouth junior. “We will be playing pieces that have become a classic in the P-CEP Orchestra featuring three incredibly talented soloists from our ensemble.”
P-CEP Orchestra alumni will return to perform “Sleigh Ride” alongside the Symphony Orchestra.
This year’s performance marks the first since 2019 with zero COVID-19 restrictions for the winter concert.
