Tsubasa Okada is a STEM senior at Salem High School, and he is obsessed with mathematics. He is on the Detroit Kendo Dojo team, a Northville soccer team and the Salem varsity tennis team. He currently leads a nonprofit organization, the musical group Ensemble Hanabi, as he enjoys playing musical instruments such as piano and marimba. He has performed at multiple venues such as the Farmington Farmers Market, the Belle Isle Koi Festival, the MSU Tollgate Pumpkin Festival and the Saginaw Japan Festival. He joined The Perspective in summer 2022 and hopes to dedicate his time to the paper throughout his senior year. He is planning to attend college for a major in engineering or computer science, with a minor in music.
