Sukhpreet Kaur, Salem senior, has been writing and reading with a passion for many years. She is currently enrolled in the Arts Academy at P-CEP. She is passionate about the outdoors, birds, biology, reading and writing. When she was in third grade, her interest in reading and writing exploded, as she began to write and draw comics for her and her classmates to read during recess hours. Sukhpreet is enrolled in the Comic Books and Graphic Novels class where she will write more stories. She still spends much of her free time creating characters and writing individual stories for each of them. She also likes to share these stories with her close friends and family.  Sukhpreet has lived within the Plymouth-Canton district her entire life. She lived in Canton, Mich., until 2017, when she moved to a rural property in Plymouth. Whenever she is not inside her home working on writing prompts or art projects, she enjoys spending her time with her many pets, like her pet rooster named Uno.
