P-CEP Girls Bowling

The Salem Rocks Girls Bowling Team is currently undefeated with an 11-0 record putting them at the top of their division. The team is led by senior captain Jennifer Snow who has the eighth best average in the conference and Amanda Ellenwood who has the seventh best average in the conference.

Snow said about her season so far, “My season has been going really well. I beat my highest game 3 times so far and my average has been increasing.” She also mentioned about her team’s season, “My team’s season so far has been really good. We are undefeated and our freshmen have improved greatly since the beginning of the season.” The Rocks look to keep their perfect record going and get to States.

Canton Chiefs’ junior co-captain Katie Nosay said, “I would say that our season is going very well, we have three new girls that joined the team and three returning. The three new girls have been catching on to the routine of high school bowling and showing awesome improvement.”

Nosay is leading the Chiefs with a 162.5 average. While the Chiefs record is 3-8 Nosay is very happy with her team’s improvement throughout the year.

The Plymouth Wildcats are off to a 7-4 record led by senior captain Maddie Harden and junior co-captain Elizabeth Breitzman. Harden and Breitzman have the second and fourth best averages in the conference, respectively.

Breitzman said about her team’s season, “Our season is going well so far, our freshman are doing really well and we’ve won a good amount of our matches. Everyone is trying their best.” She also mentioned that her season individually is going very well, as she has a 19-1 record. Breitzman also said that she is proud of all of her teammates’ heard work.

The girls look to rack up more wins and get to States as the the final stretch of the season is around the corner.
