Democrats are poised to take full control of the Michigan legislature after strong victories across the state, largely propelled by big margins of victory for all three of the incumbent Democrats in the executive offices. Democrats were also able to keep a 4-3 majority on the Michigan Supreme Court after incumbents Richard Bernstein, a Democrat, and Brian Zahra, a Republican, held their seats.

Additionally, all three proposed amendments to the Michigan Constitution dealing with term limits, voting laws and abortion rights passed with strong levels of support.

Incumbent P-CCS Board of Education Secretary Anupam Sidhu retained her seat, while district volunteer Judy Westra and preschool assistant teacher Sheryl Picard landed a spot on the board, beating out incumbent P-CCS Board of Education Vice President LaRonda Chastang, teacher Amanda Krinke and engineer Nathan Morris. Incumbent P-CCS Board of Education trustee beat Schoolcraft college student Sebastian Ostertag in an election for a partial term expiring on December 31, 2024.
