Lauren Filey, Editor-In-Chief
A senior who transitioned to P-CEP at the start of her junior year, Lauren Filey has focused on finding the intersection between storytelling and style. Since joining The Perspective staff, she has learned to pursue quality journalism without sacrificing personal aesthetics, proving that a sharp eye for a lede and a love for all things girly go hand-in-hand. In summer 2025, she attended the MIPA journalism camp, returning with an Award of Excellence and a sharpened vision for her future. Outside of the newsroom, she serves as president of the Park’s competitive public speaking team P-CEP Speaks, and a member of Student Youth Dialogues on Race and Ethnicities, a group of upperclassmen chosen to discuss and promote diversity in the Plymouth-Canton community. Lauren has a heart for service, a head for headlines and a closet full of pink.
